If you look up, this is what you’ll see at the Riviera Theatre in North Tonawanda, New York, a suburb of beautiful Buffalo.
Constructed in 1926, the Riviera Theatre was originally an ornate movie house. The first films shown there were Upstage and The Mona Lisa. It was also a place for vaudeville performances.
Today, the Riviera Theatre is lovingly restored, looking great, and booked with all sorts of shows, from comedians (Vicki Lawrence) to jazz performances (The Four Freshmen) and more.
The Riviera Theatre features a Mighty Wurlitzer organ, that rises up from the floor for everyone to see, as it gets played masterfully before most every show. –Mark Weber
